01
Infrastructure & Traffic Safety
Fixing our roads ensures smooth journeys and paves the way for safer communities and a stronger future.
02
Transparent & Open Government
Accountability requires complete transparency regarding decisions. Citizens should have full access at every step.
03
Eliminate Wasteful Spending
A prosperous county requires discipline. Let's trim the unnecessary spending from the budget and exercise self-control.
04
Local Leadership
A true leader listens. They spend time with their constituents to truly understand the needs of communities and their neighbors.
05
Stop Taxpayer-Funded Lawsuits
It's disheartening to see hard-earned dollars get squandered on lawsuits. Let's invest in our future, not fight the past.
06
Homeless & Addiction Crisis
Combine the strength of our hearts with the power of practical solutions, providing a hand up and avenues for recovery.
07
Flood Risk Reduction
By modernizing codes and planning we can lower insurance risk and safeguard our entire coastal community.
08
Vision for the Future
While we make decisions for today, we must keep our eyes focused on a vision for a strong Escambia of the future.
Vision & Beliefs
The government closest to the people is most accountable to the people.
- Leading our community starts by listening
- Completely open and transparent government
- Eliminate wasteful spending and stop petty lawsuits
- Address our challenges and plan for a bright future
Goals
We can address key priorities through specific actions.
Bring back Committee of the Whole meetings and welcome citizen participation
County leadership has spent too much time legislating, and not enough time listening to those they serve. Let's bring back Committee of the Whole meetings, and find more ways to involve citizens in local decisions.
Organize engaging community events to promote awareness and education
Awareness and education is important, and it's the county's responsibility to ensure citizens are in the loop. Events can bolster civic engagement, inform residents, and strengthen our county's unity and progress.
Partner with local businesses to strengthen our local economy
Owning a small business is hard enough without our county making it more difficult. Let's work with local small businesses and find ways to help them grow. A strong local economy starts with local businesses.
Hold regular town hall meetings to solicit feedback from constituents
A local government that spends more time with the people can better represent the citizens it serves. As leaders, it is our responsibility to continuously and effectively communicate with our communities.
